Is it my face that you see when you glance my way
Is it the figure I carry throughout my day
Is it the smile in my eyes that makes you grin
Is it the high cheekbones that brings your focus in?
What do you see when you look at me?
Do you see my worry, stress, and pain?
Or is my smile hiding it so well that you cannot tell.
Do you see the effects that disease has brought to me or
do I appear brave and undaunted by the task before me.
Do I appear strong and competent for the battle
or am I deluding myself to think no one can see what I see when I look at me.
Am I visible, Can You see ME?
